Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Founded in 2013 by Allen and Kimberley in Greenhills, East Kilbride, Encore Stars Academy began with a bold idea: to offer children a safe, supportive space where they could explore musical theatre—and feel empowered while doing it. Over the years, that vision has blossomed into a vibrant and inclusive performing arts school that nurtures confidence, creativity, and community across South Lanarkshire. Today, Encore Stars Academy is a registered Scottish charity and a leading light in musical theatre education.
Our Journey & Milestones
2013
From Humble Beginnings
We launched with local productions like The Wizard of Oz and Dracula Rock Show, performed in church halls and community venues.
2018-PRESENT
Sold-Out Success
Our performances—ranging from Matilda to Annie—soon began drawing packed audiences and delighting families.
PRESENT DAY
A Home to Grow In
We later opened Encore Studios in Murray Square, and have since expanded into a spacious 6,000‑square‑foot facility in East Kilbride Shopping Centre, with six studios, rehearsal rooms, shower/changing facilities, and a social reception area.
Looking Ahead
Our dreams continue to grow—just like our students. We're committed to offering more magical productions, expanding LAMDA exam opportunities, and taking performances to prestigious stages including the Edinburgh Fringe, London, and beyond. With Encore Stars Academy, students don’t just learn the arts—they find lifelong friends, develop essential life skills, and become part of an inspiring family.
